Welcome to Polka Sweden. We are a small team with a big love for one of Sweden’s sweetest traditions. Our journey began with a simple idea — to share the taste of the classic Gränna polkagris with more people, in new and exciting flavors while keeping the heart of the craft alive.

Legend has it that the very first polkagris was created in a cozy kitchen in Gränna in the 1800s, when a determined candy maker wanted to bring a little joy to the townsfolk. The recipe was simple, but the love and patience that went into each twist of sugar made it unforgettable. That spirit lives on today in every cane we offer.
